Eros International receives Honorary Award for Contribution to Indian Cinema at the Bollywood Awards

May 26th, Saturday night saw a star studded gathering at the Bollywood Awards held at the Nassau Coliseum in New York. The film extravaganza drew thousands of people from all over the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean; all eager to see their favorite stars honored and perform at the magnum opus.

Gracing the occasion were Soha Ali Khan, Urmila Matonkar, Neha Dhupia, Arjun Rampal, Bipasha Basu, Rajkumar Hirani, Kirron Kher, Sikandar Kher, Kangana Ranaut, Vikram Chatwal, Danny Glover, Mira Nair, Ohylicia Rashad, Upen Patel and Bradley Cooper (Alias and Wedding Crasher star) among others.

In recognition of its pioneering effort in bringing Bollywood to Indian audiences the world over, Eros International, now in its 30th year, was given the Honorary Award for its Contribution to Indian Cinema.

Ken Naz, President of Eros International, USA, commented while accepting the award:
